{"id":32,"date":"2023-11-01T01:44:29","date_gmt":"2023-11-01T01:44:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com.qa\/en\/?page_id=32"},"modified":"2024-05-19T06:07:18","modified_gmt":"2024-05-19T06:07:18","slug":"sharia-supervisory-board-ssb","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com.qa\/en\/sharia-supervisory-board-ssb\/","title":{"rendered":"Shari\u2019a Supervisory Board (SSB)"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Shari\u2019a Supervisory Board (SSB)<\/h2>\n<p>Shari\u2019a supervisory board in al Jazeera finance \u201cTamweel\u201d company reviews and studies all Islamic products and services launched by the company and the members of Shari\u2019s Committee are the scholars with knowledge and expertise in Islamic jurisprudence.<\/p>\n<p>The company provides the Peace of mind and tranquility for the customers through the fatwa provided by the SSB of the company for each product or service which are provided to them.<\/p>\n<p>The General Assembly appoints the SSB based on the Board of Directors nomination,and consists of not less than three members.<\/p>\n<h2>Roles and responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>To approve the Company\u2019s products and services.<\/li>\n<li>To approve the standard agreements and contracts pertaining to the company\u2019s financial transactions.<\/li>\n<li>To give a Shari\u2019a opinion regarding the products introduced by the bank and issues fatwas on the questions and transactions submitted to it.<\/li>\n<li>To suggest the possible Shari\u2019a solutions for the problems of the financial transactions inconsistent with the principles and provisions of Islamic Shari\u2019a.<\/li>\n<li>To review the reports of the Shari\u2019a Audit concerning the audit of the company\u2019s transactions and to which extent such transactions are compliant with the provisions of Islamic Shari\u2019a and the fatwas and resolutions of the Board.<\/li>\n<li>To Present an annual report to the General Assembly of the company encompasses the Board\u2019s opinion about the company\u2019s transaction and operations which are done during the year and to which extent that the company\u2019s management has committed to the Board fatwas\u2019 decisions and direction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Shari\u2019a Supervisory Board (SSB) Shari\u2019a supervisory board in al Jazeera finance \u201cTamweel\u201d company reviews and studies all Islamic products and services launched by the company and the members of Shari\u2019s Committee are the scholars with knowledge and expertise in Islamic jurisprudence.
